Hilbre Islands, an archipelago off the Wirral coast, form a protected nature reserve with a rich and unique ecosystem. Home to rare plants, seabirds, moths, grey seals, and other wildlife, the islands are also steeped in history and natural beauty. For generations, they have inspired artists, scientists, and thinkers alike.

The Centre for Art, Science & Sustainability (The CASS) is based on Hilbre and offers a platform for creative and ecological engagement—where artistic practice and scientific research meet in response to climate, place, and the natural world.
