CARL F E HODGSON

In our search for unique, original talented artists that have not been recognised by the public at large we came across the work of Carl F E Hodgson, now deceased. An oil painter, potter and etcher from Rhos-on-sea, North Wales. We were able to purchase a small number of his etchings which demonstrate not only his social conscience but also his talented skill expressing the decline of industry during the Thatcher Era in 1980’s Britain when the great industries went into terminal decline and many a skilled worker was left unemployed.
